Quick Equip Hotkey
It would be nice to set a key to allow you to quickly equip an item in your inventory and swap it out with whatever is currently equipped.
For example, you have a better shield in your inventory than the one that you currently have equipped. You right click on it and it automatically equips the "better" shield in your inventory and moves your "old" shield to your inventory. If you were to right click again on the "old" shield that is now in your inventory it would equip your "old" shield again and move your "better" shield to your inventory. Yes, I stole this from Torchlight II, but it is nice and does save some time during game play. Last bumped on Nov 7, 2016, 10:31:16 PM

The game already has a feature like this. I think the default is "x". It's just like in d2, you can have a sword and shield equipped and then immediately switch to a bow for different kind of engagements. Or have a bow equipped and switch to a 2h weapon. Doesn't matter.
Even better, the extra items don't take up inventory space. Same system as d2. |

Ah does it? I'll test it out as soon as I get the chance. I feel stupid now.

" I know I'm reviving this topic, but this is not what he was asking for. He was talking about a key that would equip an item from your inventory. Like, instead of equipping a glove by dragging it to the slot or clicking it and then clicking in the slot, you would do something like ctrl+click on the item, and it would automatically go to its correspondent slot. I too would very much like this feature. Sometimes you are swapping equips over and checking character stats, or even taking off all equips to see what stats come from the equips and what stats don't. That would make these sort of thing more easy. Also, look how much visualizations this topic has. Must be all from people googling if there is a hotkey for that, like I did. "i think you were missing the point, he basicly meant only switching out a shield and not the weapon aswell, you are highly unlikely to have a copy of your main hand weapon I usually do not read popular posts again after i made a comment on it, unless it's one of my own. I wish to have a Black robed Grim Reaper micro set in game one day, grant my wish, GGG

" This is what I did. I'm pretty mind blown this isn't a thing. This is like a 4 year old suggestion. Can it be a thing? That would be lovely. |
