Question regarding Divination Distillate

If I cast a Spell Totem with Spark linked with Increased Quantity/Rarity and use Divination Distillate, do I need to cast the Totem again in order for the effects to apply?
You only have the IIQ/IIR from the Distillate while the buff is active. Once your hp and mana are both full, you lose the buff and with it, the IIQ/IIR.

If your hp/mana is full when you pop Distillate, you get no effect. Keep that in mind.

The totem does not "snapshot" your stats.
If you don't have the divination buff on you, neither will your totems.
If you have the divination buff on you, so will your totems.

Yes, I know that, thanks. I always remove a big reserve mana aura before using it so it will be in effect for 5 seconds.

My question is a bit tricky and hard (impossible?) to test. Does the flask effect go to the summoned totem or do I need to cast a new one.

Anyone in this forum have a sporker? :P

That's exactly how I hope it works, but not being sure I always act paranoid and spam the totem while in flask effect. Do you know that from feeling or got it from the devs? Thanks for your response!
Just see totems as expansions of urself, instead of entities on their own. After you summoned a totem, all effects that change on your main char will apply to the totem as well:

If you gain power/frenzy charges AFTER you have summoned your totem, it will get the increased dps.

If you summon a totem and unlink all the support gems except skill+totem, it will lose the supported effects.

SO the flask works the same way.

That makes sense.

My understanding of Totems is that generally they snapshot your stats and use them for the duration of the totem.
Totems do not and have never "snapshotted" anything. They are using your skills, which are inherently affected by your current stats, not your stats at some past point in time.

Awesome!

I was able to confirm that. something that affects the player instantly transfers to the totem. Swapped weapons to have culling when mob was at 5% and it died as soon as I swapped to Heartbreaker.
