Aegis Aurora not proccing when spell blocking reflect

I have a character with aegis aurora + spell block. Since 0.11.2 you can spell block reflected damage but I've noticed if I block reflected damage aegis aurora doesn't heal my ES. Is this a bug or intended?

Also can you spell block lightning thorns?

Hey, I asked the same question some time ago, and got told that reflect doesn't trigger on-hit-effects. So e.g. the damage of Tempest Shield won't trigger, the mana/life/damage from The Anvil won't trigger, and the ES replenishing from Aegis Aurora also won't trigger. :(

Oh, and you can block Lightning Thorns. They are considered reflect damage of the type you used to trigger them (spell reflect when using spells, attack reflect when using attacks). So if you use e.g. Cyclone you don't even need spell block to block them.

It makes sense for Tempest Shield if you think about it. If reflect damage triggered the on hit-effect of Tempest Shield, that damage would be reflected as well by elemental reflect mobs. That means that effect is looped until you die, the reflect mob dies or you don't block the reflect damage.

I don't know what the reasoning is behind not triggering the Aegis effect, but I guess it's just easier to not trigger those effects at all when blocking reflect damage, whitout destinguishing what kind of effect it is.
