Righteous fire

Hey Guys
Having trouble trying to figure out this gem, right now I have 75% fire resist and #% life regen, and still losing life pretty fast, how much life regen do I need to run righteous fire? Thanks for the help.

Are you trying to run righteous fire on low life with high ES? Or are you trying to run this on life only?

If the former, you need the passive Zealot's Oath and enough ES to out regen the damage from righteous fire. The formula is as follows ((Max HP * (1 - fire resist)) - HP Regen from gear) / % Life Regen.
For example, you have 500 max HP, 75% fire resist, 6 HP regen from gear, 3% life regen. Plug this into the formula, ((500 * (1 - 0.75)) - 6) / 0.03 = ~3967 ES to break even with righteous fire damage.

If you're trying to do righteous fire on HP only, you would need to have enough % life regen to cover the loss, which would be a shit ton, which means it's not feasible.

im doing low life

How much max hp and ES do you have?

So i have 2.5% life regen, 77% max fire resist and 5k energy shield and I still loose ES, im lost

also 787 life

Well pluygging that into formula given already in thread is 7240 ES to breakeven, so yea, you would degen.

I suspect your life is too high.

i'd suqqest looking for higher ES gear, like 600+ shield etc, and speccing to energy shield on shield nodes, there are 3 30% easily obtainable near zealot's oath.

when you get to endgame i'd suqqest getting atleast 1 of
since power charges with rf is really broken.

obtaining 125k fire trap dmg with conc effect, increased crit.


not the cheapest way, but imo the funniest.
edit: if i only could change my bandit reward for 1 more powercharge :(
