BSODs in Windows 7

I get a blue screen and a reboot of my system periodically while playing this game, usually when I enter a new area, or load up a new character. The error reported after restarting is as follows:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1041

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 50
BCP1: FFFFFFFF80CF0000
BCP2: 0000000000000000
BCP3: FFFFF80002A94798
BCP4: 0000000000000005
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\081913-21187-01.dmp
C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-56437-0.sysdata.xml

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit
Athlon 64 X2 Dual 4200+
4 gigs of RAM
9800 GT with the latest non-beta drivers

Any ideas? Thanks!

most of the BSOD's that the game suffers are sound card related, other than that you could check the 2 files that the error message indicates.

the dmp file will should tell you what caused the crash but a quick Google doesn't give anything definite for the BCCode: 50 error, there is memory problems, driver problems, external HDD problems and other that get's that code.

Thanks, I'll check it out and then post back if I learn anything.

Here is a utility which will allow you to go back through bluescreen crashes and look at them again with more details.

Perhaps something there can get you the information you need.
My 2 cents are on driver related problem. If kernel based part of driver encounter a problem than BSOD will say hello ;)
