life leech warrior

i wanna start making a life leech warrior with good armor and hp and really high life leech and attack speed. i know imma use blood magic for this build but not sure if i should use claw and shield or 2claws. give me some tip on how this build will work
i play mmorpgs, i has no home in them right now since i quit maplestory. i just bounce around games for now and wait for the big mmo to bring in the community. stay sane exile in the lake of the great depression.

hi
i have a lvl47 mara with a 2h sword and tons of life steal. im in ruthless act2(just finished golden hand quest) withput any problem. My char is quite strong now. I use anger and grace auras. I have 49% dmg reduction now. passive skilltree: I like using swords because i have enough dex for change to hit (85-90%) and i can use green gems as well. but as for you. i would use shield+claw. |

What would you suggest me to develop and which weapon to use? I like the two-handed axe - it is not too quick, but killing enemies with one hit let me quite quickly replenish my health i r russian

Wow, I love your build dehogynem. I'll use it as starting point for my own. Thanks for sharing, I had a real trouble getting my head around the skill tree but it starts to make sense now.
I'll probably go into maces and try to explore a bit to the left of the tree (+health from attacking and killing blow). Culd you explain once more why you chose swords? How do you calculate you accuracy? Cheers! IGN: AlCohonez, GhengizCohen

I actually tested out a Life Leech Vaal Pact Mara when the new patch hit. My life leech was 27% and I still wasn't able to leech enough life for Vaal Pact to work.
On topic. I have a LVL 68 Mara that leeches only 13% and that's good enough for me. The one thing to remember is that life leech is based off of damage per hit. If your main focus is on leeching than make sure your doing a good amount of damage. With my previous build mentioned above, I leeched more life without using Life Leech Support Gem than I did with it. I swapped it out with Melee Physical Damage and that granted a lot more dph which in turn, gave me more life leech. GL with your build. Would be interesting to see a Mara build with a stupid amount of leech. " That's because life leech is based off of physical damage, not elemental damage. Using Claws to life leech will give you a high life leech % but the actual life you're leeching back is diminished by the fact that claws don't do a ton of physical damage. I'm currently leveling up my own Vaal Pact Marauder using a 2hand Mace with about 19% life leech from passives and equipment. I get pretty decent life leech but atm my armor is low and I need more life in my build for it to be really viable. I'll post my build up in the Marauder class subforum when I get him to endgame. Unavailable I was dealing a good bit of damage, 2500 DPS, about 2000 of it physical. The issues with Vaal Pact that I ran across was chaos damage obviously, getting frozen, and swarmed. I tried sweep for when I was swarmed, but it couldn't keep up. Even with 2 sweeps per second. Good luck with getting Vaal Pact to work with a Mara.
