teleport nodes??

was wondering if that could be possible-like on each corner of the skill tree or something there could be a node that teleports you to the other side of the tree-
yes balancing could get crazy but itd make for some really killer builds-plus it would take up 2 skill points so that might come ubnder consideration if people really want to use them

Funny, I thought about exactly this. Because with this system the original classes will be maintained, while having great access over the tree. One has to start at the original class starting point, so this is why every class will still have their own features. But with such a teleportknode one can enjoy and think about even more crazy builts. Oc these teleportknodes should be far enough from the class starting point, so for example one can reach it after spending like 30 points.

Furthermore I think one should not be able to reach all corners of the passive tree with such knodes. But it will depend on the starting class aswell. For example a shadow can only jump to the area around resolute technique, the ranger for example to the Minons Explosion and so on.

I would really like to see it, at least in Open Beta, so time will show whether this would be super nice, or super bad.

Ah, someone mentioned this before, and I think there are purpose for each class. So unless someone are willing to sacrifice a lot of points, otherwise, I don't see that happen for balancing issue.

I would argue this adds too much mobility and would eventually result in a degradation of class identity. Instead, I think we just need more nodes, period. 1300 is a lot, for sure, more than any other game - but we can make the tree bigger by at least 200 more, adding clusters so that classes can diversify more, but in unique, class-specific ways, rather than letting everyone jump all over the tree once more.

Or, we could just rework the center. It's kind of a mess at the moment.

i personally think that the passive tree is pretty amazing as it is, the problem with expanding it is that it can possible increase the cost of other things......or the other option is to just branch off the current tree, but adding everything everywhere will also take away from build identity, there has to be a level of individuallity and class relation involved......

i personally think the middle of the tree is fine as well, the only that that would be cool is if a class was added in the center or maybe another big unique node?
