New Ranger Passive Ballistic Mastery

i am pretty excited about the ranger passives so i tried to use spells with it, for example, freezing pulse, it benefit from projectile speed and damage, but the passive only applied to the projectile damage, and no change to the speed. at least thats what on the skill notification.
here i wonder, does it suppose to increase the projectile speed from spells as well?
from the describtion i think it should

Also, is there anywhere else on the tree that gives Projectile Speed? I'm wondering if that node is worth picking up on a Freezing Pulse or Spark build (most likely on the Shadow, as the Ranger opening doesn't offer much for spellcasters).

Projectile speed is pretty rare IIRC

I'm also planning take this node for FP shadow. Maybe it's just error in tooltip? Till now projectile was projectile, does not matter if arrow or spell, so it should work for FP projectiles.

I took that node over the weekend and IMO it works in both projectile damage and speed for FP and Ice Spear projectiles.
