More Implicit Mods (with randomness)

Any chance that all items could have implicit mods and those that have implicit mods have a little bit more randomness to the values? Examples... Most rings are fine except for Iron Ring. Iron Ring always has a flat 1-4 physical. I would suggest to add some more values to the pool like normal +physical damage rolls.. ergo 1-9 or 5-12, 6-11....

Im just asking for slightly more randomness to the implicit mods out there. All the static ones are a little underwhelming. To be fair you could remove the additional implicit mod from the random mod pool ergo if wands got an extra 10-20% in the implicit area then wands could stand to loose 10-20% from the affix pool so that in the end they work out to be the same but you would always be more likely to get a stronger wand from higher levels just based upon re-rolling the implicit mod.

Not to mention this would give Blessed orbs a little bit more value.

Examples of good implicit mods... Boots getting +movement speed, bows getting +accuracy, axes getting +crit multiplier, ES helmets getting +int, gloves giving +main stats based upon type (ergo armor getting +str and evasion giving +dex)...

Just some ideas.

This is pretty true.

I find it kind of silly that there are some items out there that just become obsolete at a certain level (because 1-4 physical damage will never outclass 20-30% elemental resist, or +24 max life, or chaos resist or 20-30%crit chance in the end game).

I must admit that I also like it that some implicit mods are fixed though - 18% accuracy bonus on swords except for 30% for demonic swords feels really nice from a flavor perspective.

I do kind of hate that Blessed Orbs are a lot less valuable than they are rare. I think any new variable implicit mods thought up should be added on instead of replacing existing implicit mods.

I was thinking along the lines that if they added randomness to the values then the current static mods would be some where around the mid to low end rolls of available random so that people could "upgrade" current static items to better rolls.

Some more examples around my idea.. swords might start off rolling 5-15 accuracy and by end game would be up around 15-25 maybe even as high as 30. This way the statics currently out there would be better on the low end but on the high end people would have a reason to "Bless" them.
