Does Minion Instability get a boost from Immolation?

Just wondering, since its fire damage.
I'd like to know this too actually.
minions don't have access to your passive tree.
I don't know, and I asked the same question in an other thread, still no answer...

@jokulmorder : the fact that the minion explode isn't a capacity of the minion, but it's an ability of the caster. So your argument just tells us that you can't improve your minion with your tree, not that you can't improve their fire explosion damage when they explode.
I read a post from a while back from a developer saying that CURRENTLY it does not benefit from extra fire damage passives. Something with it being a game engine limitation.
Wanting this answered as well.

This is not going to change - you minions deal that damage, not you. Your minions do not have your passives, you do. So your fire damage passives will not apply to this damage, because you're not dealing it.
However in future this will be affected by your minion's stats, so if your minion (not you) has increased fire damage, or added cold damage, or chance to ignite, those will all apply (by the same token your 'minion damage' passives will apply, because those give 'increased damage' to your minions as you summon them). But for now none of these can apply because it can't be dealt as actual damage yet.

Minions Exploding is not currently damage - This means it is only affected by resistances and minion life. Fire damage, Criticals and burning do not apply to minion explosions at the moment.
