does frenzy really increase cast speed ?

the wiki says attack speed and cast speed.
the tool tips for the frenzy gem only say that it grants increased attack speed and does _not_ say anything about increased cast speed. |

The frenzy charge yes.. It will increase your attack speed and cast speed by 5% for each charge.
As for the Frenzy skill it has an inherent increase attack speed with more frenzy charge you have. So frenzy skill will have x+5% increase attack speed for each frenzy charge (where x is the inherent increase attack speed) No food in fridge... Beer it is.

" so the frenzy skill gets an additional attack speed bonus per frenzy charge above what a frenzy charge would normally grant me. numbers would help: i have 3 frenzy charges, and a level 2 gem. so i get +15% attack speed/cast speed for the charges, and an additional +12% damage/+15% attack speed _only_ when using the frenzy attack. so my frenzy attacks would be +30% faster and +12% damage. My normal attack, or any other skill/spell, would be +15% increased speed and receive no damage bonus. is that right ? |

" You get cast speed increase per frenzy charge, that cast/attackspeed is globally avaliable for all your skills meaning that if you get the charges up by using frenzy, you can cast faster using freezing pulse for example.. But if you only need the charges to increase another spells cast speed, i'd go for blood rage instead. IGN: Gahrlaag
