Is Recipe for Alchemy Shard working ?

Hi,

I can't obtain Alchemy Shards by the vendor recipe.

My sources are POE Wiki and POE France, it explains that the recipe for Alchemy Shards (X of them) are mostly items with :

- +X Levels to X Gems
- +% Chaos Resistance
- flask with "Surgeon's" (Recharge on Critical Strike) prefix
- +% Item Rarity/Quantity
- +% Chaos Resistance (with maxed value)
- +% Item Rarity/Quantity (with maxed value)


I've tried with chaos resist and IRR items but I don't obtain shards.


Anyone has an explaination ?

I have been doing it fine without any problems even earlier today.
That information is correct as far as I know, though i do notice some IIR/IIQ items not giving alc shards (maybe it has to be max roll for that bracket, or higher rolls eg "dragons").
Maybe the item you are vendoring has got 6 mods on it so it gives an augment orb instead?

this, both: the lowest tier of IIQ/IIR mods gives no alch shards, and maxed values on the upper tiers give more than non-maxed.

The other thing you mentioned, is also a possible reason: some recipes are taken as 'higher valued' from the npcs: a tri-colour-link will always give the chromatic, a 6-mod item always the augmentation and so on.

For sure it was due to the fact that I tried to vendor Lowest IRR values (or Chaos resist)
