人是越来越少,这是不争的事实。本应该服务器压力减小,事实却相反。这很像d2里面人为制造的lag用以非法复制符文或者服务器被成千上万的外挂所占据。无限制多开是万恶之源,d3已经见证了这一切。你们所做的一切有目共睹,我非常感谢你们制作的这款伟大的游戏。祝你们好运!

The MAIN idea of the poster is(I don't think google can do a good job with this complicated language :P): In diablo 2,some player manully set off legency somehow in server,so as to copy runes;or use cheats to do somthing. Being able to open multi-Clients is the source of many illegitimate activtities;the diablo 3 proves the point. & etc. (google can work well now XP) the following is my opinion: In my opinion,there should be some way to prevent some certain type of cheating. To get a decent netspeed connecting to the server, many Chinese player use free or charging VPN,some cheater may use that VPN too,therefore,the IP of the VPN may be banned because of the illegitimate player,but the legitimate suffers as well. So,banning IP,delete some illegitimate accounts may have some positive effects,but cheater is always cheating without actual well-working restricting methods. After all,good game,player killer,cheers to your excellent work! POE is for sure a free-for-fun game,but as far as I know and see,it's also a pay-to-win game. I'm not sure that it is undeniable that there are fewer and fewer players in the game. However, I'm also not so sure server load is the big reason for desync ( or 'lag' ) problems. So far as I can tell, it has more to do with the netcode PoE uses...which is probably constantly being looked at for areas of improvement.
