Make the last few enemies appear on the map

So far I've full cleared most of Act 1, and in every single zone I ended up with 1 monster (or 2 or 3) remaining at the end and I had to go back and find the one crab I missed near the start or something. In fact I had to abandon Ship Graveyard because I scoured every inch of it and still couldn't find the last 4 monsters. That's not fun or challenging, it's just a waste of time, so I think it would be good if once there are only 5 or 10 enemies left in the map, they appear on the map so that you can easily go and finish them off.

On a similar note, it would also be nice if the automatic monster remaining count (like in Fetid Pool) and full-clear message appeared in every zone, regardless of having the achievement already.

That doesn't sound very challenging.
What's challenging about scouring an empty map for the one remaining enemy?
Finding him.
"getting achievements is too hard, make it easier"

Uh, its optional, this sounds dumb. I've had one enemy remaining in Ancient Pyramid, one of the most annoying areas. I found him. I have had three monsters remaining (in seperate locations) in Western Forest. Super annoying, took me about 15 minutes. But I don't complain because its optional, its something I do once because I felt like it, and won't do again because I don't need to.

The challenge is completing it, the making it easy to complete sounds like a stupid idea

I. Love. You.
Yes, this idea really destroys the purpose of the challenge. Now, for people who just like to clear the map, I'd say this is a good suggestion for normal play.

If the challenge were 'find all the Easter eggs' and then the eggs appeared on your map, the challenge really is 'collect all the Easter eggs'.

Happy hunting/fishing
I honestly can't understand you guys.

have you ever went for this challenge? have you even once ran around the Ship Graveyard for 20 minutes back and forth, to find that one, burrowed Water Elemental?
note: he wasn't in the water.

GGG should make the game detect you're going for a full clear, and turn the last monster in each area into a unique that will kick my *** for all I care - but mark it on the map for god's sake!

running aimlessly, searching for some hidden mob with horrible proximity detection? I passed that exact spot twice before the Elemental decided to unburrow.
that's not "part of the challenge". that's annoying, event-based "hide and seek" BS!

I want to see mobs on the map in spots I already explored, and after killing say 90% of the mobs. a "fog of war" kind of thing if you will.
see that monkey in a tree, that Elemental in the small pool of water, and that Zombie burrowed next to a road I already explored.
Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat
Shadow: That was fun

Easter eggs are supposed to be hidden though. This challenge really is 'collect all the easter eggs'. If there were secret enemies that you were specifically meant to root out, I would agree, but these enemies are not meant to be hidden. In fact they are meant to kill you, and be in your face as much as possible. Still it's easy to miss one, especially if they are buried to begin with and you have to literally walk on top of them to trigger them. The "challenge" of this challenge is exploring every room of every map and taking on every pack you encounter. Playing hide and seek with a water elemental is only incidental, and not very fun at all. I enjoy full clearing dungeons, but I don't enjoy spending 15 minutes running around an empty map. Nobody who thinks that's an entertaining challenge should be in charge of game design.

So then don't do it? You are entirely free to NOT do the challenge.

Please stop complaining that you want the challenge to be super easy, and then saying that its not fun because its not how you want to do it, and implying that you are forced into doing this and are suffering because of it
