End Game Mapping Exploration/UI

No Man's Sky's primary exploration is through an infinite procedurally generated map of a galaxy. The top level focuses on selecting solar systems, in which each star system is unique and has planets to explore.
Exploring the galaxy map gives you options to filter a few different ways to help point players in the right direction or find a particular system. You can filter based on specific characteristics of the systems like economy level, and can also filter specific paths through systems to reach specific quest objectives. Of course I know this is different, especially with the fog of war surrounding the map, but I thought I would share another game that uses a similar type of mechanic for some indirect inspiration. As a side idea, it would be interesting if there were different 'universes' in the map, or gates to other 'biomes'. In these biomes, you could explore similar types of individual maps in look, theme, or time. There could be different gates to different areas in some way. Just a neat idea.
