+ Level modifiers take away from gameplay

High + Level modifiers create extreme power spikes that allow you to disintegrate anything including rare monsters and Rogues with ease.
It takes the fun away from fighting mobs fairly. Personally I prefer the Skill Gem leveling mechanics from POE1 -my opinion for a solution I recommend removing the modifier entirely, Buffing the scaling for skills as leveling up skill gems, or bring back the Skill Gem leveling mechanic from POE1. " I agree. I'm currently leveling a sorceress. yeah it outscales needing high % modifiers for spell damage and other damage.
