Architect bugged -- moved to an illegal position and now won't move at all!

I understand how the architect works, I do not need an explanation of how to move him. Mine is bugged. I had a standard 77 room mega temple set up and decided to change things up with the atziri farm strategy. For some reason the architect did an illegal move one spot to his 10'oclock position, putting himself directly adjacent to 2 rooms (the corner was directly above him and he was connected to the 2 rooms adjacent to said corner). He then devolved my small snake even though I had the end locked. This left a room dangling by itself, grayed out and locked and a big gap. Not supposed to be able to happen.

I figured no big deal, I can move him back -- except I can't. I've killed the architect and/or atziri 7 times since then and he refuses to move. I've created a nice big legal spot for him to move and locked rooms touching him which should force a move and he won't. My temple isn't completely bricked but it's pretty much ruined when compared to the ideal setup since the architect is no longer playing by the rules.

Anyone else have this happen to him and if so, is there any way to fix it?

The architect cannot move to a place where he connects himself to an existing room. In my temple he moved directly to a spot in the corner that directly attached him to two rooms. In addition if you have the end of a snake locked, no rooms (that aren't looped) can devolve and leave that locked room on the end dangling by itself. Except it happened to me.

That said, that is in the past and hardly matters except to illustrate there is something wrong with my temple. The fact that he now won't move is the real issue at hand.

i killed the architec and he moved to connect to 2 rooms, same thing... i didnt think he was able to do that, now i dont know what he is going to do if i kill him more...
