Incorrect use of wording for "Arcane Expanse" passive cluster.

Arcane expanse (and the leading passives) use the wording "Spell SKILLS, have increased AoE).

This implies that it is applied to any SKILL gems with the spell tag.
This would include heralds secondary damage.

However, I believe the intention of this passive is to apply to spell damage from skills which is very different from the wording chosen.

It would need to be something like, 10% increased spell AoE with spell skills.

This is similar wording mistake that occurred on the old sandstorm visage (which also did not work with heralds) and was corrected later to be similar to what I suggested above.


As proof what I'm stating is correct, you can look to the helmet mods "Socketed Spells have +4% to Critical Strike Chance"

This mod also implies spell as in the spell gem not the source of damage. Meaning it does in fact apply to heralds (which it does).


Please fix the wording or allow it to correctly work with heralds skills.

What makes you think it doesn't work with heralds? I just tested it with RF and Flesh and Stone, both are affected by Arcane Expanse cluster even though they don't deal spell damage.

Also that mod from Sandstorm Visage you mentioned is a poor example of proper wording.
