Bug Reports (Path of Exile 1) - No ascendancy points after successful completion of Trial - Forum

My character successfully completed the Trial of the Sekhemas and the chosen ascendancy was effectuated. However, the character had no ascendancy points. I tried to reset with Balbala, but the response was nothing to reset because no points have been placed. I logged out of game and relogged, with no change.

Is there a way to obtain the 2 ascendancy points?
