Game Freezing Whole PC
|
Hi all,
Only been encountering this the past few days but when playing poe2 only, at random maybe once every few hours, my game would freeze the whole computer and the sound just stutters, only fix is a hard reboot. Ive checked Windows Event Viewer and there is no warnings or critical errors in the Application or System areas. Just wanting to see if anyone else has been experiencing this recently and if there are any possible solutions. Thank you Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Eagle Ice Wi-Fi 7 - DDR5 CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | 5.0 GHz | 8 Cores 16 Threads GPU: XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 XT Triple Fan Gaming Edition - White RAM: 64GB Kingston Fury Beast RGB 6000MHz (2x32GB) CL36 - White OS: Windows 11 64 bit professional I was getting some crashes about a month ago which I fixed by rolling back the AMD drivers to 25.9.1 or thereabouts but these hard freezes are only in the past few days. I have been fine for pretty much every season since launch. There is nothing that seems to trigger it, it just happens at random. A few times during maps, a few times sitting in my hideout doing nothing. Last edited by niyo#6722 on Feb 11, 2026, 5:45:22 PM Last bumped on Feb 11, 2026, 4:24:59 AM

Hello,
Try to have a look on embedded windows tool named "Windows Reliability Monitor" It will give you the indication on third party apps interacting with the game or if it is the game itself. You can get here : Windows Reliability Monitor is located inside the Windows Control Panel under System and Security\Security and Maintenance or here : Through the Windows search box from the Start Menu. Type the magic letters "reliab" (without quotation marks) and click View reliability history. I was struggleling since the start of this league with CoC crashes, Adrenaline 25.9.2 version has resolved this issue. You seems to have encountered the same issues, corrected with the same fix. However if stability problems are persisting, the problem can be elsewhere. So the "Windows Reliability Monitor" will be able to provide help to identify the encounter. |
