Feedback about Idols (I really like them, but)

The fun:
--- initial hunt for idols is fun (loot/gamble), because it quickly and heavily alters variables for a specific mechanic you enjoy doing the most (blight, betrayal, exiles, etc.)

--- its nice being able to swap them out without needing any respecs.

--- it is another area for build minmaxxing and changes to the variables can result in a lot of fun "wtf" moments when you really push some variable to its limits.

The not fun:
--- once you have a lot of idols, idol management is a chore (affix reading simulator). You might say - thats the entire game, I disagree - Atlas did not have this problem because in large part it was visual, at a glance you could say what was where.

- Suggestion A: Make idols visually change depending on types of affixes they have, split the idol icon into 4 and tint/shape them to corresponding game mechanic for those affixes. We have that for influenced items (shaper/elder/etc.) Why cant we have that for idols ?

- Suggestion B: Give more idol set slots in the map device (3 is NOT ENOUGH). Make it so you can unlock more slots via atlas progression. Even for a single mechanic you can have multiple idol sets (e.g. ritual - idol set to farm deferrals, and a set to collect deferred).

- Suggestion C: Create atlas which is slottable with idols (basically cluster jewels for atlas).

- Suggestion D: Considering above atlas + visual idol influence, have only 2 affixes possible per idol, but also give ways to slam crafts on them (specific idol orbs perhaps, maybe as rare as chaos orbs).

--- Lack of idol affinity for stash tabs (understandable, idols are temporary experiment)

--- Only 3 idol set tabs in map device (already mentioned above)

The final verdict:

Implement a mixed variant: Atlas + Idols (basically cluster jewels for atlas)
Add this to POE 2
