I love poe 1 and 2, but this GIGAzoomerr thing aint it.

Hi there, i did really try to play it. All the way to lvl 89.
Wheres the gameplay? We all should be now be giga adh on cocaine, zoomers right from the start of the game. Audio gives öhrhrlr, örjrlhh, sounds 100x/second to my brain and colors explode in the screen. pawpaw. ögörörörrö. This phrecia event is the worst that poe has been in 10 years. Now youve started even hiding the obvious default mods on every zone. Theres more damage dealt, less damage taken in every zone in maps. Youre starting to lose the famialirity and alianate people from the game when their bare minimum builds cant do anything any more.(My ignite build that is for day 3 superb cant do shit, fire res resistant monsters just walks throught and kills breach thingies, those, you cant kill any monster that has regeneration even a small bit, and even no regen marks feels stupid bad) I bet there are many more builds that used to feel decent but cant do nothing now. I still do have high hopes for poe2. Poe1 is lost to zoomers i guess. Golden starndard for the genre is up for grabs(i guess its a positive thing as well), i hope we would get new refreshing games. No rest for the wicked seemed to hit good, but its missing 10 years of content. Poe 2 felt so shitty as well last league on the start, yet it supraised positively when swapped to ranger and league mechanic was acuatlly pretty deep. Really hard to pinpoint what the problem would be for me. I guess the best way to put it would be to refer into Daniel Kahnemas book:"Thinking fast and slow". Yeah, I agree. I dove back in last night and played a little more. I got to act 8, but I am dreading the act 9 boss. My only issue at this point is that it feels like they are hiding the Phrecia ascendancies behind this gatekeeping of the enrage, gauntlet, whatever etc. As someone who didn't get to play the original phrecia, I was looking forward to this, and I still am, but damn is it a pain in the rear.

Yeah It is part of the game, and every builds need to have the potential to get up there. This just should be when youve dedicated time, resources and planning into your build. Now craziness starts on the beach without.
I feel exhausted and unhappy after every sesh nowdays. Might be im just getting too old. |

I cleared the campaign with Poisonous Conc rather easily without buying a single item. Died a nubmer of times sure.
Sirus is broken however. Enrage must be removed from him, because two bosses with enrage means you can't actually dodge anything, Baran doing slam in 0.5 seconds. |

that's the cool part about a video game, you play how YOU want. why do you care if somebody is running mach 5, them having more money or being faster has 0 bearing on your fun

I know I shouldn't feed the trolls, but...
It's possible to simply choose to play at a snails pace if a borefest is what you enjoy. Don't try taking away the zoomzoom from PoE fans... there are many other arpg that cater to slow and meaningless combat, let PoE retain it's fast action-packed meaningful gameplay. |

People who just want to play a video game have long gone from poe, only build copiers and pasters have remained. Its impossible to just play poe any more, at the bare minimum you need external tools (wiki/pob) to get anywhere in the game, and thats sad. ___ Hoo there wanderer... It's totally fine if you're unable to keep track of what's going on, many of us are able to make split second decisions, last moment dodges, and fast combos. If you want to replace your Quicksilver flask with a 2nd health flask and use boots without movement speed... great! You do you.
