Rate limiting when adding email

My GeForceNow isn't syncing poe to steam so I'm trying to login directly through GGG. So I need an email linked to my account. When I try to link on the site it keeps saying rate limited, please wait 120 seconds. I've waited over 5 minutes and still on the first click it says it again for 120 seconds. Help please

Hi there! Receiving the rate limiting error message typically means either yourself, a third-party tool or browser extension is sending too many requests to the Path of Exile website. I clicked the submit button once. After waiting more than the 120 seconds, I clicked it once, and again same thing. I then waited 30 minutes and clicked it once, same thing.
