Dont know if you have read the context but far as I understood Zizaran said in stream GGG was planning the event without HC Trade mode and that he would be talking to them about it. If thats true then them now providing this information would make your statement here "literally" false.

Sure...there's no need to consider the fact that a 10 second clip in a massively long stream of a completely different game caused Ziz to mis-speak and accidentally spread misinformation himself.

Because "someone" told him that there would be no HC trade.

GGG immediately turns back to respond in Ziz's preferred forum because it was his fault that the misinformation might spread quickly. Thus is the power of misinformation. And of a top 5 streamer.

Ziz makes mistakes like.....all the time. The first Phrecia event was less than a year ago. It would make no sense for them to just arbitrarily cut out HC trade....when its the same base game as all the others, and it was included in Phrecia 1.




But this whole aside shows......nothing to any point you are trying to make

I dont know what kind of point you are trying to make. The relevant fact which I pointed out is that the quoted statement from VoidWhisperer42#5989 was false. If you do disagree with this: Please do say so clearly.

And if you read the linked reddit thread (the OP) you may know that at least one person (the starter of it) found the GGG comment relevant.

And if you read the event announcement properly you may have come across "Standard and Hardcore Solo Self-Found versions available." I didnt find any mention of HC Trade in there. I believe its reasonable for HC Trade players to be scared of their preferred mode not being available based on that. So I clearly disagree with the "literally everyone already knew" statement being appropriate.

And if GGG statement was unnecessary because "everyone literally already knew" why would they make it? I do believe GGG has better understanding what "everyone literally already knows or dont" than you or me or VoidWhisperer42#5989.
