900+ ES on Magic Body Armour?

Hey,

i think about putting Orbs of Alteration on this lvl 77 item to compensate the loose of energy-shield if i wield 2h or dual-wand on my dual-totem-build. Any other values then high ES aren't necessary thats why i think to craft an magic item for high ES but now i don't now how much the highest ES could be if you use Orb of Alteration on it.

Any knowledge if it will do?

Don't. If it is neither 6L nor very well rolled it is not worth crafting/linking a body armor. The amount of currency to get to a decent result is much higher than simply buying a good one. Further, you probably want a shavronne's anyway to go low life/RF. So, I would suggest to save the currency and simply buy what you need.

Shavronnes is much out of what i can effort and i don't need an 5L or 6L for my Build on Body Armour.

The next problem is noone sells an Blue Body Armour with only high ES in its values, i don't need any other value then Energy-Shield from my Body Armour.

I wear for Dual-Wand or -Combo or i take the and switch the headgear to normal.

The goes in place for an 5L, it saves the concentrated support-gem.

This goes in place for dual-wand if i cant craft/find/buy an high ES Body Armour.

Similiar to the which i can't wear without any high ES Body Armour to compensate the loosage of the shield. The Searing Touch needs to be at least 5L to become effective.

This build is for Firestorm. Firestorm requires "Concentrated Effect", "Faster Casting", "Increased Duration" and "Spell Totem" linked to. Would become 5L or 4L if put in the Rime Gaze.

a magic item always got 1 prefix and 1 suffix. ES mods are all prefix mods, so u can get the % or the flat mod (or the stun hybrid) on a magic item.

best roll would be +120% ES for a ilvl 77+

This guy rolled 171%.

Because it's a rare so he got 3 prefix and 3 suffix so, among its 3 prefix, he got %ES and stun+%ES

this guy got on his chest the highest % mod + the highest stun hybrid mod. so the +171% mod is actualy two mods.

just look on the prefix and sufix lists

I understand but i didn't saw anything about 170%+ there and i still don't understand the point of what stun has to do with ES.

You mean 170% is like:

Maximum Energy Shield +%
+
Local Energy Shield +%

?

I still count max 140% for in the link you posted.

Thats the hybrid-stun-stuff you talked about, i never understood this point. I can forget about using Alterations to get high ES if so.

Btw, Shavronnes seem to be sold out at the moment and there is no way to get a Yellow with pure ES and lower then 5L.

highest you can get with alteration only should be be ~420es not in the mood to calculate it
