POE2 Hardcore on GeForce NOW issue

Dear Path of Exile 2 Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I've been enjoying Path of Exile 2 but have encountered a frustrating issue while playing in Hardcore mode via the GeForce NOW cloud gaming service.

The game's auto-pause feature for detected slow connections or disconnections works well in many cases (similar to manual pausing with ESC), and I appreciate it for helping prevent unfair deaths.

However, during brief 2-3 second latency spikes specific to GeForce NOW—where my screen freezes temporarily but the connection recovers quickly—the instance does not pause in time. The game continues running on the server side, often resulting in my character's death from threats that I couldn't react to due to the stream freeze. These deaths wouldn't have occurred without the spike, and they've caused me to lose characters after several days (or even a week) of progress.

I suggest that the game pause the instance more aggressively upon detecting any significant latency spike, even short ones, particularly for cloud gaming users like those on GeForce NOW, to better protect Hardcore players from network-related issues.

Are there any current settings, workarounds, or plans to address this in a future update?

Thank you for your time and for creating such an engaging game. I look forward to your response.

Just to set expectations - GGG do not offer Technical Support.
Having spent thousands of euros on Path of Exile over the years, I will not be further supporting it financially until and unless GGG resumes offering Technical Support.
You are using gforce now

IF the connection from the gforce servers to the game is solid the game won't auto pause, even if the connection from the gforce to YOU is trash.
