Bloodmage grasping wounds and undying hate sacrifice of flesh

Hello,
I was wondering how to upgrade the survivabilty of my bloodmage and saw the keystone sacrifice of flesh from an amanamu undying hate jewel. The question is does it work together with the ascendancy grasping wounds?
If yes, is it additive or multiplicative?
