Question about the genesis tree/ancient wombgifts

Does anyone know what exactly the "recessive genes" node does for ancient grafts?

I am trying to hunt the double foulborn embalmer and I figured that this meant rarity in terms of unique tier.

I decided to skip using it.

I see sooo many duplicates of t4 and t3 gloves and I have only ever seen 2 embalmers (this is with over 200 ancient wombgifts used. I even did 50 with a lower ilvl to remove somw extra items from the pool).

Does this mean some other rarity that has to do with foulborns specifically?

Also, I tried a small batch with the node active and just saw more non-gloves.

I've confirmed the issue isnt with my filter as I check all ground loot when I do the tree, and test dropped wole foulborn embalmers and they show up.

Also, I ofc have limited strength, increased dex/int, increased gloves, increased foulborn etc.

Embalmer is T5 according to wiki so I dont understand why you would want to use "recessive genes" in the first place.

I got desperate at some point and figured maybe I was missing something about what recessive genes was actually doing.
