Explosive Demise Command is not working

I summon raging spirits with flame wall it shows indications they can be exploded by the red dot indicator I have seen before, I cast the command the mana is spent and the sfx goes off but nothing explodes. It will kill off a low life undead if in range but won't trigger on srs.
