Hedgewitch Rune of Wisdom

I can't insert 2 of +1 spell skill runes in to my staff sockets. I click on the socket and click accept but the rune remains on my cursor. I inserted the first one no problem and I can insert other runes also.

This is affecting me as well. Tried to place the second one, but just makes a sound as if it was placed. Tried overwriting by placing another rune first, and then Hedgewitch Assandra's Rune of Wisdom, and I get the dialog for overwriting the rune, but accepting again plays the sound but does not place the rune.
