cant find citadel over 100 maps in

is it me or its bugged? I cant see any beacon at all like in pervious leagues and no citidels to be found at all. I did trigger the questline for it. Anyone like me?

Before I quit I was in a pretty similar situation. More than 10 towers and nothing in sight. Enjoy your procedurally generated garbage pile I guess

Same. Quit the league a couple days ago due to the crazy economy but up until that point probably played 5-6H/day and did not see a single citadel.
Had to buy the fragments to be able to make my tablets rare.
The beams of light are definitely buggy, for both citadels and nexuses. Had situations where I was 1 map away from the nexus and there was no light and the next day I could see them trough fog. And then they disappear again even tough I just saw the beam the day before.

You must go straight line north / west / south or east 70 maps, at bast use white tier 1 map so its be done fast.

0.5 better be some very substantial reworks cause mapping right now is mind numbing. Once you're level 94 - 96 I feel like it's best to just do T1 maps and go in a really long line and try to find a citadel but this is extremely boring.

In general GGG needs to fix some core design philosophies. The game is fun when you're actually in danger of dying and have to pay attention to engagements. But the punishment for dying in maps is so high that it encourages (or maybe even forces) you to play it safe and run maps well within your limits - except this makes the content too easy and thus boring.

Right now we effectively have a dichotomy between progressing your atlas map in a reasonable time frame and playing fun/challenging content.

I'm in the same boat at about 94. I haven't seen a citadel after many maps. I started by going to every visible tower for a map reveal, but that did nothing, so I started in one direction, but even after a couple screens, still nothing. Maybe if I kept going something would eventually turn up, but I got burned out.

Same issue here, lvl 94 and headed straight south. I haven't found any citadels yet. This season really has been a let down with the server issues, performance and terrible end game.
