Players: Punish exploiters. GGG: Sure I'll reward them!

This is what happened for the past few days.

Players asked for GGG to take action on those who took advantage of Holten efficient farming method and juiced their snake temple easily.

GGG decided to kill holten for overleveled characters, but everyone who took advantage of this already juiced their temple and farming nonstop, they instead punished those who have waited patiently or starting to do now.

Players asked for GGG to ban those who got their juiced temple so fast and printing currencies left and right.

GGG decided to kill holten for good, making sure that those who didn't juiced their temple cannot juice their temple fast like early exploiters. This fix affected those who decided to level a fresh character just to build their temple. People who took advantage earlier left untouched, still farming and controlling the economy.

Players asked what is GGG doing with these decisions and thought this is unfair.

GGG decided to make it so energy gain for temple is now doubled for t15 6 mods maps, making sure those who just started or low geared people to not charge their temple super fast while helping those who is already been farming temple and every item slot is equipped with mirror tier gear can get their temple faster than before and less annoying.

Players realized they are thrown aside by GGG and started to question things.

GGG decided to do make sure that those who just started or low gear people to have hard time clearing temple while helping fully geared, already been farming temple all day every day to have more loot and increased effectiveness of temple by 40% which resulst in 40% more hp to monsters and 40% more loot. Those who have fully mirror tier gear won't feel any difference with 40% hp but will feel the difference with 40% more loot while low geared or just starting people will feel it to their cores.

This is what I understand from the last few days, GGG seems to be helping those who took advantage things earlier while making harder to do it for those who waited patiently or just starting. Am I understanding this wrong?

Nah it's a design fundamental flaw. Trying to force everyone to participate in trade economy by balancing the game around it. It's a game not a job as long as you trying to pit casual against hardcore there will always be disparity in wealth. Only solution is to buff SSF with much much better loots drop.
