is anyone playing on similar hardware?

I wanted to ask if anyone else is playing on older hardware and also experiencing very long loading times and massive FPS drops, especially in multiplayer endgame. Playing through Acts 1–4 plus the Interlude wasn’t that much of a problem since FPS stayed around 40–60, but joining a party in the endgame is basically impossible. The loading screen takes over 2 minutes, and by the time I get in, the boss is already dead or the map has changed.
My specs: GTX 1660 Ti Ryzen 5 3600 32 GB RAM 1 TB SSD If there’s any solution to this, I would really appreciate some help. Last edited by Vatrez8475#3811 on Dec 29, 2025, 9:56:25 AM Last bumped on Dec 29, 2025, 11:22:12 AM

Sell half of your RAM and buy new CPU, GPU and a happy meal

" Bruv, many of us experience all of this even on top end hardware lol. Solution is simple. Buy a top end pc and maybe you will be fine. |

I had:
1660ti i8700k 16gb ram 1tb nvme ssd 3440x1440 monitor I had all my settings at lowest and upscaled at 59%. Load times aren't great, but not like a few patches ago. Averaged 60 fps. Recently upgraded to a 3060 12gb. Turned on DLSS and moved a few settings up and average 120 fps now. Loading times are the same. |

I had a similar setup during launch and would recommend some sort of cloud gaming. It has come a long way in recent years and is the only reason I was able to enjoy poe2 for a while. I tried Geforce Now and Shadow PC. Both have their strengths and drawbacks. Geforce Now seems to be really well integrated with poe2, but when patch/hotfix comes out, it can take a bit of time for nvidia's service to update everything.
