SEVERE memory leak!

Path of Exile 2 is unplayable right now.

When opening the game, everything works normally, but the PC uses 14-15GB/32GB of RAM. Within minutes, this memory consumption gradually increases to around 24-25GB, causing the PC to completely freeze. Sometimes PoE2 pops a memory error message, the screen goes black, everything freezes, and it only returns after several minutes with the game closed, or it may even restart or shut down on its own.

The game is suffering from an extremely severe RAM memory leak, I feel that in some cases it could even damage the PC's operating system.

CPU: 13600K
GPU: RTX 5070 TI 16GB
RAM: 32GB DDR5

I literally tried setting all the graphics settings to the lowest possible, enabled DLSS for performance, and set literally every possible option the game offers to the minimum (which shouldn't be necessary for my hardware) but nothing helps. The game suffers from endless freezes and a very serious memory leak.

This type of problem should be treated with the highest priority. What's the point of GGG addressing in-game bugs like mechanics, bosses, temples, and maps if we can't even get the game to run on our computers ?

The game is unplayable for me. I'd like to keep playing, but I'm having a terrible experience and don't even want to play like this... For every 3 minutes of gameplay i have to wait 2 minutes for the screen to unfreeze, and another minute closing the game, reopening it, and resuming what I was doing... GGG is failing miserably in the technical aspects of its game and its customers.

The fact that it's in early access brings some understanding, but from the moment the same problem persists since the game's launch a year ago, understanding ceases to exist on our part.

I ask that you please post here any problems you have with the technical aspects of the game and your computers. We can't let this topic die; GGG needs to pay attention to us and solve these problems once and for all.

Have you tried turn it off and on?
Have Win11 by chance? It would explain memory leak.
I really recommend going either to Win10, or something more time consuming - Linux.

Yeah windows 11, i can't change windows version.
Are you using DirectX12? I was getting constant freezes / crashes on DX12 and switching to Vulkan resolved the worst of it, I didn't think to check memory usage on DX12 though. I think DX11 may be more stable as well. I disabled upscaling completely because DLSS seemed to have issues on both Vulkan and DX12 and I've had issues with DLSS in a bunch of other games (thanks NVidia). FSR is a blurry mess and you can't use Xess with Vulkan so I just chose no upscaling.

Edit: I'm on windows 10, 13900K + 4090 (no overclocks), 32GB DDR5 6000Mhz
