Body modifications

So when you modify your body in the vaal ruins, are you suppoed to lose them when you fail a sekhema trail? I thought you only lose them when you die?

Did u die when u failed the run or did only the honour drop to 0?
If u didn't die then this could be an oversight, because I don't think it's supposed to remove ur limbs like that. PoE2 0.4 Character:

nope my honour had just drop to zero. and it had happen twice actually because i had two different aug's and i lost both of one each per time i had failed
