Interaction between amanamu's gaze and transcendent limb on boots

As a summoner i have bones of ullr boots with amanamu's gaze (augment which increases move speed based on spirit).

I added a transcendent limb mod in the temple and the boots now say "you cannot use this item". To confirm, i have another set of boots without the augment and they work normally.

Is that an expected interaction?
