I'm very disappointed with this league and these mechanics. It's lamentable, POE 2 is a game with great potential, even being EA, it should have much more practicality.

Going back to old issues, the game is slow, the melee build is an atrocity, lack of toughness and HP in the build, the player only has high numbers that are illusions...

Passive tree with penalties, unique items with penalties, support gems with penalties, maps with penalties, crafting with penalties, skills with penalties, solo playing penalized.

Guys... this is incomprehensible!! I've been playing games for over 40 years, what you create isn't difficulty, this isn't difficulty, this is called "messiness". It's clear you're out of ideas; you penalize everything because you're lacking ideas.

I don't mean to be rude, but this reflects what I see patch after patch. People, not just me, are saying the same things in different ways. How can you be so indifferent to your own customers? Nobody is asking you to make the game easy, but it's obvious that some things aren't just problems anymore, they're flaws. How is a player supposed to sustain combat with a melee character that has 2500-3000 HP?

I created a wolf druid, did everything solo, including all the ascendants... and I got a penalty on my passives: "cannot use unique scepter."

What do you mean I can't???? Why can't I???

What's unacceptable is continuing with this poor and petty "vision" of wanting to manipulate and decide what the player will or won't use, what I will or won't drop. There are a lot of people who only want to play solo, these ideas are poor, and again, I'm not being rude.

It's not shameful to fail, for sure, stopping and redoing is good. The shame is seeing that everything is wrong and persisting on the same path.

Seriously, I don't know what you are complaining about.

All I see is that the dev is making poe2 easier and easier to play. This is bad and the dev is catering to the wussies and the sissies, the losers and the useless people among the players demographics.

The dev need to go back to version 0.1 (back in Dec 2024) where things are extremely tough and extremely difficult and very challenging.

I was clear in describing that the game excessively penalizes the player, doesn't let the player use what they want, and continues to develop bad ideas.

Regarding the useless players etc. that you mentioned:

I played PoE2 +++5900H, I have 98 96 96 95. My character in the league is 90.

It's very disrespectful of you to say that there are "useless and unsuccessful" players. Before giving your "opinion" about something, you should read or listen carefully to things.

That's why this forum has rules. It's to maintain class.

there is atleast 20 skills you can use as melee and clear endgame comfortably. I think this might be a learningcurve issue? Dont look at guides (unless to get started with what some gems does). Learn the interactions and you will soon blast whatever you want with most skills you want.

Now we have level 100 screenclearning melee builds (and weaponswap abusers) in less then a week. And abuse of vaal ruins. The currency is also raining from the heavens.
I play a very slow build, beacuse i like SLOW and methodical, so i play that approach even if it only penetilies me. I get less loot, currency etc - but i enjoy the game MUCH more. like A LOT more. Even tho i play this slow build (lvl 98 in hardcore currently) i still have 200div+ just by spendnig a few hours a day grinding some maps. its crazy............
I dont like this direction that the game is become so easy and just cater to 1-3 week playtimes per seasons kind of dills.

I have over 5800 hours played, I've never had any difficulty, I've been killing the Arbitrer since 0.1. and clear game easily since 0.1. What I'm questioning is something quite different.

There are many details in the game that I think are wrong, too many penalties, and I don't like this slowness.

And I don't like the limits on using items and skills, Jonathan's "vision" is confusing and strange, the game should be much better.

I don't know how to be clearer about so many penalties and restrictions.

I've never had problems with difficulty or loot; I've dropped everything that players are looking for that's most valuable. I've played this game a lot, and I agree with you about the wrong direction the game is takin

I'm a casual player and do like a challenge, however many things in this game frustrate me. The ascendance for 1. I get that some people don't have issue with it but I personally do not enjoy it at all and did not enjoy the mechanics in poe1. I'll just leave it there.

Some people want a hard nosed arpg, that's fine but for a free to play game your going to need more people playing and spending beyond that small group of people. Hardcore exists and many of you play that so I don't see the need to make standard so time consuming and frustrating.

I personally play games for fun and really enjoy the discovery aspect of games. I'm not one to watch "streamers" smash content, dictate markets with their builds. I enjoy trying new things and seeing what works and what fails. That is not exactly fun in this game as everything is so long and drawn out.

I think the game is amazing, however many things that I personally do not like may prevent me from truly enjoying it. I don't need to be the best or smashing end game to enjoy the game. I would however like to craft gear without it feeling like a full time job investment. There's no way to have that kind of currency and make different builds in this game with less than 10 hours a week play time. It's just not gonna happen for casual players and that's not a good thing IMO.
