Essence Corruption steam achievement

I recently started playing poe and currently grinding for the steam achievements.

For the achievement "Essence corruption" :Corrupt an Essence monster with a remnant of Corruption.

The remnant of corruption has been removed since this league(Keepers of the flame). And the achievement is at the moment not obtainable anymore. I have tried it with a vaal orb didn't work.

Any chance they will updated the achievement or is there another way to obtain it that I am not aware off?
