Auto-aim is sucking the fun out of the game for me

Auto-aim is sucking the fun out of the game for me. I wish abilities would go exactly where my mouse cursor is pointing, without exception. That is already how every ability behaves when there are no enemies on the screen, and it feels great.
Imagine the following situation: there are two enemies, and your ability’s AoE is large enough to hit both only if you place the center of the AoE between them. In the game’s current state, this is impossible to do. Unearth makes this problem even more apparent: an AoE ability that will either auto-aim at a single corpse or enemy, and sometimes it even fires in the opposite direction from where my cursor is pointing. Am I even playing? Please consider adding an option to disable auto-aim completely. Being in control is fun. This isn't routinely a problem for me in this game specifically, but it annoys the hell out of me in many games, and it should always be an option... Ideally a toggle on a per-skill basis. |

I was frustrated with this trying to use Unearth, also. Sometimes I would want to hit an enemy, but it would target a corpse instead and miss my target entirely. It's a skill that wants to be able to do two things (kill and summon) but it prioritizes one.
Another annoying scenario is when a large enemy is coming at me, so I want to put a curse down a bit ahead of him where I know it will go off with him in the circle. Instead, the game targets the enemy and the curse centers on him, so he just keeps walking right out of the circle before the curse goes off. I've had to learn a habit of placing my curse away from the enemy and then moving myself to lead the enemy into it. Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.
