New player looking for a Lightning Storm Caster build (Sorcerer or Druid)

Hey everyone,
I’m pretty new to the game, so please be kind

I’d really like to play a pure storm caster, either Sorcerer or Druid, focused on lightning and storms.
What I have in mind is something like:

Using Thunderstorm

Casting Tornado

Spamming Arc as my main damage skill

I’m not interested in shapeshifting, pets, bears, wolves, or melee stuff — I just want to stay a full caster throwing lightning and storms from range.

Could anyone help me with:

Which skills to prioritize

Best support gems (or equivalents)

How to path the talent tree / passive nodes

Any beginner tips to avoid common mistakes

I’m not trying to min-max endgame yet, just want something fun, viable, and thematic to learn the game with.
