Geonor disappears when killed with Wyvern Devour

Geonor disappeared when I killed him with the Wyvern Devour skill. The post fight voice lines from Geonor & the hooded one can be heard, but neither can be seen.

After voice lines completed, their sprites remain gone, but the boss' loot drops, portal opens, and my game progress doesn't seem to have been affected.

Edit:
On returning to the arena, Geonor's corpse briefly appeared before breaking into multiple bloody pieces on the ground, which then melted away/disappeared. A second or two later, his corpse appears and persists.

On returning to town and back to the arena again, this pattern repeats.
