Ground Effects and Movement Slowdowns Make Endgame Mapping Unfun

With some regret, I have to admit that once again I’m abandoning the game shortly after reaching endgame. At this point, mapping feels extremely unpleasant, especially on slower characters. With such a limited number of ways to meaningfully increase movement speed, ground effects have become absurdly oppressive.

Temporal Chains is exhausting and frustrating to deal with, and chilled ground feels just as bad. On top of that, jagged ground created by Druid slam skills often completely covers other ground effects, which leads to frequent deaths caused by things I simply cannot see.

Dying to invisible or obscured mechanics isn’t challenging—it’s just discouraging.
