Are there any plans for predictive networking mode?

Are there any plans to introduce a predictive netwworking mode as an option similiar to Path Of Exile 1?
I tried the networking setting in the production.config, but it does not seem to have any effect when playing on a bad connection.
Path of Exile 1 works much better with predictive mode enabled, if you have a bad connection, so it would be quite a drawback for some players to not have this possibility in Path of Exile 2
