Vaal Temple closes upon leaving

I am really hoping that this is a bug, because this did not happen prior to patch 0.4.0b. But there is nothing regarding this on the high priority issue list, which in my opinion, should absolutely be high prio.
You have to clear 20+ rooms, get 6 boatloads of item drops and you are no longer able to use the stash because the temple will just straight up close behind you if you decide to leave for a stash. Please tell me this isn't what it was supposed to be like? Last bumped on Dec 27, 2025, 7:31:13 PM

could be worse, a third of my first six attempts froze the second I opened the doors or midway through... all for meh rewards, most of which I can't even trigger with my current gear for lack of affix space or rarity requirements

" yup, the portal bug was mentioned, this was not, which means it is how they want you to run the temple. you have to choose which items you want to bring with you and ignore all loot that drops. so dissapointing, this league is leaving a sour taste in my mouth very quickly to the point I am losing the desire to play I was halfway in the middle of crafting and now im left with a bunch of half items ( basically all garbage now) and the sour taste. This mechanic honestly makes no sense to me, and I hope they clarify whether it is meant to be a loot as you go and abandon everything, or if portaling is a bug.
If it is meant to be the way it currently operates, I really wish they would remove the stash boxes from inside the temple. It gives the wrong impression of being able to utilize them for loot storage mid-run. Another option would be giving a pop-up prompt about the instance closing when opening a portal within the temple. If it is a bug, I do hope they fix it. It is aggravating to increase the rarity of drops, only to realize you need to leave 90+% behind |

" You can go back to your stash mid run. You can even go to your hideout. You just have to go through the entrance and not use a portal. |
