I gotta say that the new merchant tabs are good.
they work well.

will there be further "Improvements" to the trade system?

with the advent of ai maybe you otta get with the times?
sell an AI agent for forum gold and allow clients to sell their
wares automatically priced properly to all players in the game?

the only cost is your server time hosting the ai? easily compensated
for by a monthly subscription fee.

the reason no one is responding is they dont get what you want out of it nor do we have the answers for your questions.

this is a question to GGG more than a feedback. GGG rarely responds as theyre a huge machine where they cant afford to give an answer to something that they cant be sure of. perhaps they have something they planned out but we dont know. may be they dont. either way, once they announce something, they will have a lot of problem backtracking and could get a lot of backlash. so its wise just to not respond.

i think many people are against this as it's blatant p2w.

for sure, i am one of the persons who equate any pay for advantage as equal to pay to win. pay for convenience such as stash tabs are included in my definition of p2w as it still gives advantage. but on the scale of "acceptable p2w". stash tabs are not too blatantly p2w and a lot of the poe community turn a blind eye and sometimes to the point of blindly defending the stash tabs as not being p2w. p2w as a term is just semantics. a term coined so that it can easily fit with p2p and f2p terminologies. p2w is pay for advantage. and most ggg defenders try hard to argue the semantics.

but that said, theres another word that can be used to describe "ai agent". which is bots. we already have some tools that can help us gauge prices. and for sure if it was built in to the game it would help. but if you were to introduce actual bots in game for a fee.... i think many people would not be happy.

to be honest, following market rates and pricing things accordingly can be accomplished with a bot that follows rules.

its not really AI. unless of course you want it to do something like predict the market rate. make decisions such as "hold long to sell high".

so theres no real need for additional servers to host ai.

then again, the suggestion for pricing bots is likely frowned upon to begin with so its very unlikely to happen.

if you're talking about the "ai agent" suggestion, i think people are NOT bothered. because they know it wont be implemented. so as you say, we keep silent and nothing changes because we exactly prefer things to not change and not have ai agents/price bots.
