architect untargetable/unkillable

I cannot damage the boss in the architect's chamber. There is no health bar on it. Am I missing something? Has anyone had this before?

i had this with 1 random enemy in a room and couldnt complete it.
enemy just followed me around pressing its face against me without attacking and couldnt be attacked. "Beidat honored the pact, though Mancy wouldn't take off Doryani’s prototype."
