0.4 Consistently Disconnected to Login Screen When Entering Viper's Boss Arena

Title.

Walk over the bridge and instantly disconnect once a toe touches Viper's arena. Hopefully staff are aware of this and a hotfix is on the way. I've tried restarting the game, new instances, validating game files. Nothing has fixed this.

Same happens to me. Unable to progress due to this.. as a bonus: can't to go town either - clicking on "create portal" sends me to login screen too.

KEY UPDATE

Figured out the issue. If you are playing druid, any scenario where you are in form and the game forces you into human form, there is a high chance you will be disconnected to login screen. I was able to fight Viper by turning to human form myself before entering the arena. This circumvented the disconnect issue.

Also just had it happen again when I was in wolf form and was going to sacrifice the heart for passive points lol, so defo make sure to manually turn into human form to not risk any disconnects.

Wow! Thanks for the tip, it worked, but not as flawless as I hoped.

In my case ANY attempt to change into human form resulted in a game crashing to login screen. I tried with a skill, with a weapon swap and the aforementioned portal casting.

Finally, what worked was me just opening inventory and unequipping the talisman. After that I could change into human via weapon swap and town protal started working etc.

It doesn't really work :(

I just thought that the issue was gone, ran through Utzaal up to the bridge, tried to change into human (hey it works now.. no) - to the login screen we go.

What is even more frustrating is the fact that it rolls back all drops and exp gained. I start at the checkpoint as if I didn't do anything, with empty inv and no exp from that run.

Guess it's hopless, gonna wait for the fix. My nerve cells worth more than this..
