Bugged Items - You cannot use this Item. It's Stats Will Be Ignored

I have bugged items...can't equip or use these. Stats are sufficiently met.
  It say's You cannot use this item. It's stats will be ignored. Patch introduced limits on most runes. Items will be unusable unless runes are equal to or under the limit. I shelved mine for now

The patch notes only indicate that you cant socket them beyond 1 in items i didnt take that to mean they would literally break existing items. Sooo unbelievably lame. This is happening too with my Blood Mage. Same error message. I can't use my Atziri's Acuity gloves (which my build completely relies on) or my boots. I have similar boots with 30% movement speed modifier, 3 sockets each with 5% movement speed runes, and increased effect of socketed items modifier. The boots cost me a fortune. Are they completely fk'd now?? Wtf is going on?

Wait... if this is true... that's messed up! I paid a lot for the items that were bricked... wow.... I have 2 wands that are doing this error. Not cool!!!
