Dialogs are skipping

Same, very annoying, I was gonna play all weekend, but I'm not going to without NPC dialogue, please fix ASAP

The same is happening here. PS5 Pro with a wired controller. Sometimes I do get occasional dialogue, but it will more often than not forward through after about one second. Have parsed through all available options and was unable to find a fix. Uninstalled/reinstalled, did not resolve.
