Foulborn The Red Nightmare Fire-to-Chaos converted effect Not Working on Timeless Jewel Passives
![]() As shown in the screenshot, I have a Timeless Jewel socketed in the upper jewel socket. It transforms two Notable Passives into “+50% Fire Resistance” Then, in the right-side jewel socket, I socketed Foulborn The Red Nightmare, which provides the effect: “Passives granting Fire Resistance or all Elemental Resistances in Radius also grant Fire Damage Converted to Chaos Damage at 100% of its value.” The radius of The Red Nightmare does correctly cover the two transformed “+50% Fire Resistance” Notables mentioned above. Under these conditions, I should be gaining 100% Fire Damage Converted to Chaos Damage, but in actual gameplay my skills (e.g. Rolling Magma) do not benefit from the Fire-to-Chaos conversion. To ensure this wasn’t just a display or tooltip issue, I tested it by running a map with “reflects 15% of Elemental Damage.” When hitting monsters with Rolling Magma, I still taken a large amount of reflect damage, confirming that the Fire-to-Chaos conversion is not being applied. Here is the PoB link I am currently using for test: https://pobb.in/PIuJkBco9BmZ Last bumped on Dec 13, 2025, 12:12:40 AM

" Passives in the radius of a unique Timeless Jewel are "Conquered". If you hold Alt over the Timeless Jewel, it explains that Conquered passives cannot be modified by other jewels. |
